Dexters has a superb reputation for the calibre of people we employ – people from all walks of life who wanted to be part of the vision and passion we bring to the business of estate agency. Here are a few of our more recent success stories.

I started with Dexter's in November 2003 as a junior negotiator, fresh out of university working in the Teddington office within lettings. I took a few to cut my teeth in the Twickenham office, then nine years later I am director of the Teddington branch. With my leadership Teddington has gone from strength to strength and is now on pace to not only hit but go beyond its expected turnover this year. I believe this is a testament to the growth of Dexter’s as a local brand and our word of mouth success. It has been a fantastic career for me especially now that I am one of the new directors! |
I began my career at a well-known London estate agency in 2001 and moved to Dexter’s in July 2005 as the Lettings Manager of the Chiswick office. The office was recently acquired by Dexter’s and I was challenged with the responsibility of building upon a very small portfolio to make the Dexter’s name standout in the exceptionally competitive Chiswick market. Through hard work and dedication I was able to transform the office into one of the company’s most successful branches, and within two years I was promoted to a Local Director and asked to oversee three Dexter’s offices in West London. Despite the economic climate, our Lettings Business has gone from strength to strength; our commitment to a professional and efficient lettings service means we have continued to expand through west and south west London and following the success of the Dexter’s lettings offices in West London I was promoted to the Lettings Board of Directors in 2010. I now oversee more than ten offices across South and West London and continue to take pride in being an integral part of one of London’s most dynamic estate agents. |

Dexter’s had been recommended to me as a lively and fun company to work for. I started at the company when I was 18 years old and I never thought that almost seven years later I would still be working for the same company, and progressed my career as far as I have through Dexter’s. I have gone from Trainee to Director, and I have my seniors at Dexter’s to thank for this brilliant career progression, continual training, as well as all the opportunities they have offered me. |
A friend who was working for Dexter’s highly recommended the company, I was impressed from the moment I was interviewed! I saw a considerable difference in how the company is run, in the relationships that each office shares, which as a result enables better customer service; ultimately gaining more business and consistently delivering higher prices. I joined Dexter’s in 2009, coming from a direct competitor I am pleased to say that I have grown in the past three years since starting my career with Dexter’s as a sales negotiator and progressing to branch manager, of the successful St Margaret’s office. |

"The issue of women returning to work is one estate agent Dexters takes very seriously – not surprisingly when around two thirds of its workforce are women..."
