Neighbouring Blackheath, Woolwich is an up-and-coming area of south east London. Home to The Royal Arsenal, which was once used to manufacture ammunition and armaments for the British armed forces, Woolwich is steeped in history. Transport
Woolwich has excellent transport links into central London with Woolwich Arsenal mainline station service taking around 30 minutes to Charing Cross.
There is a DLR service which provides connections to Stratford, Canary Wharf and Bank. As well as, the Elizabeth line which takes you to Heathrow Terminal 5 through to 2. Accessing other parts of the city and greater London has never been easier.
There is a wide variety of bus routes to and from Woolwich that are regular and include numbers 122 (to Crystal Palace), 53 (to Westminster) and 37 (to Putney Heath).
