About Kew Gardens

Kew Gardens is in the leafy Borough of Richmond and is full of history and charm, dating back to the 18th Century when Henry VII built Kew Palace as his summer residence. With pretty tree-lined roads, the area is home to a wonderful selection of cafes, pubs and shops, including the famous Maids of Honour with their delicious freshly made pies. There is a real village feel to the area and there is always something to do: visit the farmers' market, take a stroll along the river, or relax with a drink on Kew Green and watch the locals playing cricket.
